The Casual Pint-rivergate

The casual pint is a sports bar in the heart of downtown Hamilton. They have a vast selection of beers on tap along with many types of bar foods to choose from, including flatbreads, burgers and appetizers. The inside has a little bit of an industrial feel, but they also have outdoor seating on a patio and have created a beer garden in the neighboring parking lot, which has tables and umbrellas for shade.

Stopped in for a quick, cool, beverage while visiting downtown Hamilton. Easy in and out, friendly staff, clean. No food this stop but in previous visits it was good.

Anne Marie catered an event for a baby sprinkle I recently hosted. The food was incredible and the service was absolutely perfect. Thank you so much for all your help and your amazing food!

The food was delicious, and the restaurant is clean and thoughtfully designed. However, the kitchen appears to be insufficient for the menu they offer. I went for lunch with five others on a Friday afternoon, and the first thing we were told was, "We have a small kitchen, so your food may not all come out at the same time." Although the restaurant was busy but not overcrowded, they were right. The last member of our group didn't receive their meal until the rest had mostly finished eating. I was really excited for Hamilton to have a new dining option beyond just another bar. I hope the thriving bar scene allows them to expand the kitchen so they can better manage their menu.

Fantastic beer, excellent selection, and a warm atmosphere! Ann Marie and Casual Pint have truly enhanced our Downtown community. I've noticed them consistently supporting important causes and bringing people together for community initiatives. Given recent events, I felt it was important to highlight the valuable contribution they have made to our area over the years!
