Peter Luger Steak House - Great Neck

Old,dingy and dirty. Carpet was stained from something and just left stained, waiter was super nasty like he’s doing everyone a favor. Very expensive which is fine if the steak is good which it was not. Steak for 2 wasn’t enough for 2. Desert tasted like it was frozen and warmed up. I can’t talk for the Luger in Brooklyn but in Great Neck, it’s seen it’s day, horrible. At the end the waiter through the chocolate silver dollars on the table like he was annoyed. But all the waiters seem to be like that. Total waste of money. You want a good steak dinner, don’t go there . This is my family’s favorite restaurant, and we’re fortunate to live nearby, so we visit often. Most of our experiences have been fantastic, though there have been a few times when the food didn't quite meet our expectations. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place. Our usual order includes the perfectly charred bacon and the Caesar salad, which is one of my favorites. After that, we usually go for the porterhouse, along with German potatoes and creamed spinach. We always finish our meal the right way—with the Holy Cow dessert. Today’s experience was wonderful, and I hope everyone gets to enjoy the same!

I had a great meal with the family. You won't leave her feeling hungry. The steak is very good. It's a must-have to order the roasted potatoes. I would do my best to make room for dessert. Have everyone order something different. If you can't make up your mind, get the chocolate mousse with their famous homemade whip cream. I apologize for the lack of photos. We were busy eating.
