Contribuiți la feedbackI have visited The **** Inn many times, but this is my first review. I felt compelled to respond to KentTracey's review, as she mentioned there was no food available. The **** Inn is an English Pub, not a restaurant, so perhaps a fast food chain would have been more suitable for her needs. The pub's unique and interesting character is evident with 'stuff everywhere'. The drinks are reasonably priced, not as cheap as Wetherspoons, but that's not the atmosphere here. I hope the pub doesn't change at all, as I can't wait to return after the Covid-19 restrictions and enjoy traditional English pubs like this one.
The restaurant appeared promising from the outside, but the interior told a different story. We stopped in while passing through and it will be our first and last visit. Only a couple of people were inside, and the bar staff seemed more interested in chatting with them rather than serving us. We felt unwelcome after interrupting their conversation. The menu had no food options, only stale and overpriced rolls along with expensive drinks. The place was cluttered with items on the walls and ceilings, even in the toilets. It had a sexist and outdated atmosphere, and was also dirty and in need of refurbishment. The elderly landlord seemed unwell and should consider handing over the business to new management to improve its reputation. We will not be returning or recommending this establishment.
This fantastic pub is set in a gorgeous location. While they no longer serve food, they offer a great selection of ales and have a lively atmosphere. The pub does not allow anyone under 18, which is understandable. It's impressive to see them thriving without kitchen staff, and I hope they continue to succeed for a long time to come.
The **** in has charm and atmosphere .The staff are friendly , the food nicely prepared and at a reasonable price.Ample parking .If you want to see some “ humour”, visit the men’s room and you will know what I mean .Well worth stopping in .
We hadn't been for a while due the bloke running it rude and obnoxious pillock went back as somebody said he had gone and iyt was good once again. We had a couple of drinks and the place was heaving and the people were older and it was lovely. Andy the landlord was in the bar and this was good to see. the person I was with had been going in this pub since he was about fifteen. I like to go this pub and sit with my book while he has a drink or two or three . Yiu can sit and relax no music, nothing just peace and quiet for while. so if you want quiet and a drink and bar snack then this is the place to go
