Downtown Diner - Granite City

I was very impressed. My husband ordered a triple cheeseburger and I had the chef salad. I could not believe it but my husband couldn't finish his! This is a first! My salad was excellent and prices were reasonable. I'm definitely going back soon! 5 stars!!

Cool decor. Friendly service. French toast is very good. Nostalgic decorations, including table music. Can't go wrong with a burger a rootberry float / Chocolate Malt.

I love this place! It is an amazing alternative to Denny's or Waffle House for people in the area. I would like to extend the hours and the menu even during the winter/off season hours, however, and to come available for more specials every day in the hope to win / forget new guests before guests return. The food is pretty good for the price and the staff makes by far some of the best late evening talks I ever had in facilities of this genre.

The servers were attentive and well-manned and the food to my satisfaction. I enjoyed the atmosphere. The attitude is so out of a movie.

One of the best places to eat. Prices are good staff was nice and will definitely be back!!!!!
