Hacienda Buffet - Grand Prairie

Before you try to be nice leave a tip, REVIEW your receipt very carefully. They considered a 4 5 YO as adults to a party of 6 adults 2 little ones to charge a 15% “service charge” for parties of 8 or more which is in fact THEIR OWN TIP but failed to say it was an actual TIP when we went back to the cashier to leave OUR TIP for the waiter. Called the restaurant to clarify and was told you should have read the signs all over the wall and checked your receipt for charges. I’ll take that sir. BUT the owner shouldn’t be such a jerk when he’s told his staff didn’t say/mention a TIP was already charged to a $152.46 bill bringing it to a total after taxes and “service charge” to $187.91. We honestly didn’t realize we had no cash and went back and ended up leaving the waiter an “additional tip” in our ignorance.Sorry, dishonest service like this loses my patronage. Diner beware.

This place is good, never knew of another Mexican style buffet other than Pancho's and this was good authentic food. Only downside to this location is parking situation, there is not alot of room and most likely have to park in the back in the gravel section if you are coming on a busy Sunday afternoonKid-friendliness: They have chicken nuggets and fries

It feels like a little hole in the wall but once you go inside you start seeing the amazing food they have a lot of traditional Mexican cuisines and it's like if you're eating A Touch of Home nice decorative benches and tables and the waiters are dressed nice and serve to a perfection it is pretty pricey but you can't go wrong with going here all I really wish is that they could brighten up the place a bit other than that provecho!!!

Enchiladas had no filling, empanadas also had no filling, fajita meat was overcooked with zero flavor, tamales tasted like bland dirt.Pay when you walk in. No service to speak of. No steak knives to eat the pork chops with, oh, and get silverware yourself.

I can honestly say this is a great place to go eat all you can eat Mexican food that's one of a kind. I haven't been to too many Mexican buffets in my life. But I can honestly give this a 4 start a highly recommended. They have a variety of food and you will not be disappointed.
