Downtown Deli - Gothenburg

Great place to enjoy delicious Lebanese food and super friendly service! We missed our train and had an involuntary stay in Gothenburg, but we were lucky and found this amazing place, drank tasteful Lebanese coffee and had a nice chat with the waiter, whose mom cooked all the delicious dishes. Definitely recommended!

Very nice, it is all very hygienic, they use various tools for everything and put on fresh gloves, they made the Haloumi and Falafel in a microwave tho. The person behind the counter was very friendly and the payment was fast. The pack tasted really good, but the dish that was served on (wood/bamboo plate) had spots and I'm not sure if it was even cleaned from the last use. The seating and location is also beautiful, there are not too many people here, but it is also right next to many shopping streets. The design of the shop is very nice, so it is nice to have a quick meal here. For two falafel wraps with haloumi and two colas we paid 200kr, which is very expensive, but I think this has to do with the location. Would recommend.

As a Lebanese, I’m very happy to find a restaurant that serves 100% high quality authentic Taboule, Baba Ghanouj (eggplant based) and Arnabit (fried cauliflower). The Makdous (Aubergines based) is also very tasty. Visit this restaurant and get a taste of Lebanon
