Fontana Di Trevi - Gothenburg

We made a reservation for three people 1.5 months in advance to secure a table for Saturday dinner. When we arrived, the booking was only for two people, so we had to sit at a small table near the entrance in the extremely busy restaurant. Halfway through our meal, they moved us to a better table, which was appreciated. However, considering the inconvenience, it would have been nice if they had offered us complimentary desserts or drinks.

The food was decent. Unfortunately, there was too much pepper in my carbonara dish, which overpowered the other flavors. My wife's dish, on the other hand, was very good. The staff was friendly.

The Italian food and wine at this restaurant are really delicious. The staff is friendly and the location is great. If you choose to sit outside, be aware that there may be some traffic noise. The prices are reasonable and there are some very authentic Italian dishes on the menu.

As starter we had carpaccio and scampi. the carpaccio was great and the sampi was good, but the garnel had a little burnt taste unfortunately the waiter “miss understood” my order. we discussed whether I should have pasta with risotto frutti di mare, and he recommended frutti di mare and I choose that. later, when it arrived, I got the pasta with bark anyway. he apologized and gave us a discount. as well as eating was very good and the staff where super friendly!
