Hotel Salem Shevaroys - Gorad Salem

We had South Indian (Tamil) thali at this restaurant for lunch. The taste, portions and variety were really attractive. I specially liked the informal atmosphere and the patient waiters, which made the experience even more satisfying. This is a simple and ordinary no frills restaurant known for its food. Not suitable for people who are looking for luxury or up market ambience.

The biriyani is awesome - if you like spicy South Indian biriyani then this is the place to visit. But this place is like a mess and it is messy. So if you can relax your cleanliness dogs for once you can sit here and enjoy all the non-veg biriyani they have to offer. You might also need an antacid.

We had roti, paratha and dal. It was not good and costly. It has vegetarian restaurant outside its campus which is good to have.

Wait time is too long for receiving ordered food. We are waiting morethan one hour. Service is very worst. Not cleaned restrooms, no water in toilet. Server let us informed and asking alternates after 45 minutes due to my Ordered items not available.

We were the first customers at the restaurant when we arrived for lunch on April 4th. The dishes were delicious, fresh, and served promptly. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Yercaud.
