Contribuiți la feedbackLast minute. Good decision. No license, but there's a corner shop three doors away selling wine lately. No body. Good service, very friendly. Nicely decorated, extremely clean and good table linen. Very long menu (probably too long with numerous specialties and also dishes grouped from mild to hot/spicy. A plate was especially out. Incredibly bright (almost bright! beetroot red tikka masala (Kochspeziality). This is obviously a completely natural spice/color no artificial color. It also tasted wonderfully with loads of cashew nuts and almonds. If everything had done with extra chili, but we didn't mean anything. Very good overall and incredible value for money. The £6.00 bottle of wine from the nearby store must be added to an invoice for £63 that contain (for three people! : 2 x liter bottles of Highland Spring, 6 poppadums with Chutneys (very good, three appetizers, three main dishes including two cooking specialities, one with King Prawns, 1 x garlic nan, mushroom Bhaji and two portions of Pilau rice. Too much to eat. Everything seemed fresh. All halal meats. Good quality chicken. Prawns and King Prawns were not as lax or good as I like, but this is the only criticism
Very good, very accommodating. The food was really nice and good. Very recommended.
On Valentine's day early evening. The service was good and good. All ladies gave a red rose while leaving. we will go back
This is our popular Indian restaurant in Gloucester, it is a good value for money and offers excellent service.
Shimla Spice never disappoints. Excellent service and comfortable dining experience. Extensive menu with interesting and different dishes. No license for alcohol is not a problem at all either with an off-licence next door. Thoroughly recommend this restaurant.
