Shawarma Centre - Gloucester

The best shawarma I’ve had in Ottawa. Something about the garlic sauce is just so good and pushes this way past any of the competition. Very underrated location. The staff are always the most pleasant experience!

I very rarely eat at food kiosks in a mall, but yesterday I was starving. Chose a place that wasn't frying the food. Shawarma Centre was my choice and was I ever pleased. Fresh ingredients, wonderful and friendly staff. Couldn't choose between beef or chicken, but then I noticed you could get a combo for a bit more. The pita was beautifully done on the grill. The meat was moist and wonderfully seasoned. I was unable to finish and had it for my supper. I'll return you can bet on that.Vegetarian options: The usual pickles, marinated turnip lettuce, tomatoes etc. And the garlic sauce and tzatziki were very tasty.
