Penny's Diner - Glenwood

One of a kind service!!! The people who run the place? AMAZING. Stop in to a REAL country diner/Cafe, and then take in the ambiance of yesteryear. Tell them I sent you. Also, the T-shirts for sale, and their coffee mugs, are a wonderful souvenir or gift for a loved one. A

The guy there was a real *****. Called ahead and asked if they were open like the website said, and the lady said yeah. We get there and the guy said it wasnt open to the public and also refused the couple there who already paid online. Lady seemed nice but the dude seemed didnt want to do his job.

We used to eat at Penny's Diner about once a week. One of the few places in Glenwood to get good food and have good service. But ever since they switched to forcing guests to order through the QR code and not provide menus, we have not been back. And until it goes back to the old way, we will not return.

Haven't eaten there yet but reminds me of Mickey's diner in St.Paul. love these classic diners.

Great place all around except for forcing or trying to force the customer to use the qor code reader thing that you have to scan with your smartphone and order. That sucks. I'm not 14 to 45 years old. Wheelchair accessibility: Good
