Wildfire - Glenview

We had the most amazing booth in the bar area it was super cozy and enjoyable to talk with our full party in a round table. Our service was excellent he was very concerned with a GF party member and brought her out a special menu and totally was attentive to her gluten allergy. Suggested a cornbread appetizer to split and we had salmon , coconut shrimp and a chopped salad everyone enjoyed everything we will be back to this location and Wildfire always does an amazing job and really nice location a little difficult to get into but parking was a breeze.

Reliably great food. Their chopped salad is a specialty that should be shared .... Very large but great. Known for their filets,but I like they have prime rib on their menu, as few restaurants still do. It's a favorite for many, so make a reservation.

Another visit, great service personnel. Had the Tuesday special, turkey was very good. We also had turkey burger and crab cakes, both were delicious.

This is definitely one of the best places for a meal in the local area. When you walk in, you are greeted by the host and if waiting for others, there is seating available. Once inside, the warm wood tones help you relax and sit back while your server ensures that you have everything you like to drink and provides a fantastic onion roll to hold back that starving feeling you may have. I ordered a petite filet mignon with a side of macaroni and cheese. When I order a medium rare steak, I expect it to come out medium most of the time. But this medium rare was medium rare! Topped with a Parmesan crust, it is one of the best steaks I have had in quite some time. The Mac and cheese was also cooked perfectly and provided the perfect balance to my steak. Others at my table got the lump crab cake sandwich which had rave reviews, and the club sandwich which was also reported to be good. For dessert, I have the triple chocolate cake. The cake was also... perfect. The icing was just thick enough and the cake tasted like it was made that morning. Yes, this can be a pricey meal, but it is perfect for special occasions.

The halibut was fantastic, and asparagus and creamed spinach, onion rolls and our waiter was fabulous!
