The Oak And Vine - Glendale

I found this place to be absolutely charming! It felt more like an entertaining date night. It was nice to see the owner present, showing his dedication to the restaurant. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. While the food was decent overall, we sampled almost everything, and I would say the hummus and Caesar salad stood out as the highlights among the appetizers.

Wow- talk about a huge disappointment. I'm not sure what I expected- a Napa-esque wine experience complete with sommelier expertise?? I don't know- maybe some decent tasting wine would have been a nice start. The space itself is awesome. Modern and swanky- you just feel cooler as soon as you walk in the door.

FIVE STARS! The food is fantastic, the drinks are top-notch, and the atmosphere is lovely. The staff is exceptional. I highly recommend the Oak and Vine flatbread and the salmon tartine! Ed, the owner, has an impressive knowledge of whiskey and wine. We're definitely coming back next week!

I really enjoy the food, drinks, and atmosphere at this New American restaurant and bar. It makes for a great date location, although I think the lighting could be a bit dimmer and the music not so loud in the upstairs lounge. The empanadas and flatbreads were packed with flavor, and the charcuterie and cheese board offered a nice contrast and balance. The cocktails were thoughtfully crafted. I will definitely return to sample their brunch and lunch options.

I met Ed the owner and his personable, friendly, helpful and accommodating staff. Ordered The Lady in Pink which consists of: Fords Gin, St.Germain, Strawberry Purer, Lemon, simple syrup Slurp!
