Sam's Pizza - Glendale

We ordered a handmade white pizza, but I added a variety of vegetables. When the pizza arrived, I noticed that the crust was more of a typical style rather than the hand-tossed kind we expected. No worries, though! The staff promptly asked if we wanted them to remake it, and although I appreciated the offer, I declined. What really surprised us was how delicious the pizza was! The kids devoured every slice—there were no leftovers! I honestly found it comparable to a gourmet pizza you might find at Oregano, but without the long waiting time! The service was exceptionally friendly. They were so thoughtful that they even switched one of the TVs to play cartoons so the kids could enjoy a movie while we ate (without us even asking!), while my husband caught a football match on another screen. I've never had a restaurant change the channel just to entertain my children before! Seriously, moms, this is a game-changer! We will definitely be back for more!

We typically order from several restaurants within a few kilometers of our home, and we've found this place to be a great discovery. We've sampled various items from their menu, but today was our first time trying the pizza. We opted for the thin crust topped with peppers and sausage, and it arrived hot and fresh from the oven on a Friday night! It was delicious and satisfying—better than most chain restaurants. While it's not the absolute best pizza I've ever had, it's definitely worth a try. Since they've consistently delivered great meals with our previous orders, we're excited to explore more items on the menu. Maybe eventually, I can tempt my wife away from her beloved Greek salads!

I visited this weekend and the pizza was fantastic. It seems they are expanding into the next room, which is exciting. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this place!

My family had made Sam's pizza since we moved here from Illinois in 1995, we were sad when the original was closed. It has been reopened by Sam's son and renamed to Papa Sam's and it's still great pizza!! I took my 9 months old and my 4 years old there to pick up a pizza for the Cubs game yesterday! The staff was sooo amazing that they even help my son make our pizza! After we left, he told me that this is the best day ever! So, good pizza, great staff and they made my son happy!! Definitely recommended!

Took a little long to make poutine fries but everything my party tried was fantastic. I ordered the Papa's Famous Italian Beef and was thoroughly impressed. The beef was wet enough to make me want to come back
