Rowans Deli - Glasgow City

Use to love this Delhi but my god has it went right down hill last week ordered Stornaway black pudding with bacon 30 minutes later a was giving basic black pudding then had to wait a further 20 minutes service was shocking coffee was barking ordered a salt and pepper toasted wrap with spicy mayo got home the chicken was solid no mayo and tasted like cardboard. Today well a whole new level asked for well done bacon fried tomatoe get home bacon wasn’t lucky to have been cooked for 5 minutes chewy white and the smell was disgusting. Don’t think I have actually ever received the correct order but today was the last straw the food wasn’t cooked at all. Management really need to sort this out. Never will I be returning here again waste of money such a shame coz it use to be my favourite place, on a positive note the shredded ham is a amazing.

Asked for 2 rolls with cheese and onion I Got hit with a cheese slice with onions and it cost me £5.00 , what a joke Very slow service too, always waiting waiting waiting waiting Ridiculous , ill never go back

I’ve been going to this wee cafe for a few months now and in this time I’ve build a good wee rapport with staff when I enter they always say hello and make you feel very welcome . All the staff are very hard working and always full a laughter to do that all day shows how good they are especially with some customers they’ve had to deal with. I’ve read a few bad reviews which i think is harsh. I’d also like to say a wee mention for our Karen she’s a diamond gal and she has the gift of the gab in a good and funny way, keep u0 the good work girls oh and the guy who cooks also .

Used this shop often always decent rolls due to Covid you get served at door a always phone order shops clean foods good staff always got a smile on face one wee woman who works there when you phone she’s funny as in a grumpy but nice way god a will get poisoned from her next time a go in 3 rolls n bacon 2 danish and can a coke wee woman danish are boring end up way big cream donut and big cream cake tell lassie am going to be in trouble as she’s on a diet was told to tell her all our cakes are diet cakes can see my Mrs dancing on the rolls and cakes f...g diet cakes smashing wee place for a munch and always good defo best in area

I ordered a sausage roll this week and was given a roll with a slice of sausage instead. It was burnt and much smaller than it should have been. Today, I waited over 25 minutes for my sausage roll with potato scone, only for the woman to give my roll to someone else "by mistake". Unfortunately, they couldn't make me a new one because the last 2 sausages were already on that roll. There was hardly an apology, and it seemed like she didn't care at all. To make things worse, my boyfriend ordered a roll with bacon, scone, and fried egg, and the bacon was burnt and the fried egg was extremely overcooked. We won't be returning to this restaurant.
