The Black Sparrow is my favorite bar of all time. It's my home away from home. Similar to the neighboring Charles Bukowski-themed bar, Chinaski's, I find the Black Sparrow to be even cooler and darker. It has a vibe reminiscent of an American bar from the 1960s, where you could imagine men in sharp suits and skinny ties with slicked-back hair filling the place. The bar is well-stocked with a variety of vodkas and whiskeys, mostly American brands, and the stylish leather stools are a comfortable spot to enjoy a night out. The food at this bar is surprisingly good. My burger was thick and juicy, with generous portions. My dining companion also enjoyed their pizza.
I had a great meal at Black Sparrow. The food and drinks were delicious. The bar has a great atmosphere and the staff are friendly and talkative. It can get crowded on weekends, so it's best to make a reservation if you plan on dining there. The menu has hearty options and the portion sizes are generous. I particularly enjoyed the fish and chips, which were tasty and not greasy. The crowd is eclectic and the music is good. Located just off Sauchiehall Road at Charing Cross, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.
Before being recommended by one of our readers as a great place for burgers, I had never visited Black Sparrow. After finally trying it out, I couldn't believe I had been missing out for so long. The burger was delicious and perfectly seasoned, the atmosphere was relaxed yet upscale, the staff was incredibly friendly, and there was a wide variety of drinks to choose from. I highly recommend Black Sparrow to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience.
The Black Sparrow is a modern pub, nicely decorated with food available for lunch or dinner. Went there with one of my friends and had a few beers. I was surprised when i got a bill with 11 quid to pay for 2 beers. The bar offers wide range of beers starting from english john smith's smith finishing with italian peroni or czech republic staropramen. Overall good experience but prices could be cheaper though.
