Happy's And Grill - Gladstone

After reading many positive comments online about their taco salad, I decided to try one to go tonight, opting for the carnitas since I enjoyed those previously. Unfortunately, it fell flat and was tasteless. While the dish was crispy, there was nothing exciting or special about the taco salad. There are definitely better places to go for Mexican food.

I absolutely love the new menu changes at Happy's! The owners have done an incredible job keeping the restaurant thriving during these challenging times. They've transitioned from the traditional burger and fries to a Mexican-inspired menu, and it's even better than many dedicated Mexican restaurants! The shredded beef brisket is phenomenal—SO GOOD! I had the taco salad, and it was delicious! I can't wait to return and try more items, especially the nacho fries.

Being Switzerland is not the badge you think it is. All it means are you are pussies unable to stand by your beliefs. That article was gross. Disgustingly wishy washy. And. The way you treat seniors is gross. Screaming and swearing at senior citizen customer? Really? Food is great. All of the servers we've met are fantastic. Out of the somewhat limited options in Gladstone, Happy's is a good one. This bar has a laid back atmosphere, a selection of taps, and a decent menu. Every time I have visited, there have been abundance of friendly servers. Sometimes they get to chatting and are slow to bring the food or the check. Not a big deal. The food is good I've had the veg burger, the fish sandwich, and the mac and cheese. Nothing that will make you want to write home, but totally edible chow to go with your beer. Speaking of beer, they've got around 10 taps with some being national brands, so not a ton of options, but enough. They've got lots of TVs to watch sports. And a patio if you would like to dine outside. This seems like a great spot for the community. I've seen them host kids' birthday parties and of course friend groups. They host a karaoke night on occasion. Overall, Happy's seems like a great gathering spot for Gladstone.
