Being a Cajun from South Louisiana, it has been difficult to find a good solid place to eat on a consistent basis. Since I work in Gladewater I figured why not, let's do it. I ordered the crawfish etoufee and asked the waitress what the Cajun Trinity was as it was listed in the description. What I was told was correct! The etoufee was legitimately authentic, everything that was essential into making the roux was there. Plus the rice was on point along with the crawfish. The French bread was just fluffy enough. Next go around will be some gumbo!
Fantastic food and service. Will definitely be back. Steak sandwich and booshey burger were amazing.
I've passed this place more times than I can count so I finally stopped in. The staff was so kind, attentative and friendly. I ordered a combo plate with fried shrimp and fried catfish. It came out steaming hot and smelled so good. Both the shrimp and fish were seasoned just right. I would definitely go back.
The gumbo and the bean soup were extremely salty. All you could taste was salt. All other meals were good and the family enjoyed them. It's not a bad place to eat, it's just not a place that will be our first choice of places to go
