Contribuiți la feedbackSince we had a wonderful experience during our last visit three years ago, we decided to dine here again before a soccer game. We ordered the Vermicelli bowl with BBQ pork and the rice plate with BBQ pork. Now, I'm not Vietnamese, but I absolutely love the Vermicelli bowl—it’s my favorite Vietnamese dish aside from Banh Mi! I’ve had it countless times, so I know for sure that the noodles should not be served steaming hot. Even after adding the fish sauce, they were still steaming! All they needed to do was chill the noodles in an ice bath for a few minutes to serve them properly. To make matters worse, the dipping fish sauce was bland and lacked any hint of red chili or garlic. The pork in both dishes wasn’t grilled either. It felt like we were being served a slab of Char Siu (Chinese BBQ pork) placed in a Pho and then put on a rice plate or in a vermicelli bowl. That’s exactly how it tasted and looked! I have to say, I suspect that this restaurant may have new owners since our last visit three years ago, and I’m truly disappointed. Three years back, we enjoyed a fusion of Thai, Vietnamese, and Filipino cuisine. We ordered BBQ chicken, Pad Thai, and Pad Woon Sen, which totaled about $36—average compared to portions at other restaurants. Everything was delicious, the service was quick, and the staff were friendly. We would definitely be returning then, but I'm not sure about now.
Thai and Vietnamese restaurant in Gilroy? Who would have thought? They offer a traditional menu featuring both Thai and Vietnamese staples in one location, and the food is delicious. Everything we ordered was fantastic. We enjoyed vegetarian egg rolls, pho soup, pad Thai, and seafood curry. It’s not modern fusion cuisine, but rather comforting, satisfying food.
I first ordered the chicken fried rice, but the rice wasn't fully cooked. We decided to switch to pineapple fried rice, and unfortunately, it was the same issue. We also tried three other dishes, but they were all excessively sweet, as if sugar had been poured in. I found this restaurant on YELP while looking for Vietnamese food, but it turns out it’s actually a Thai restaurant that serves Pho and a few other Vietnamese dishes.
First time here. Service was fast and friendly. Food was fantastic. It was nice to have some different options to choose from. I had an Asian Taco with fried tofu and it was Absolutely Amazing!!!
I used to really like this place. It wasn?t the best but it was the best in town. The last few times I?ve gone though, the quality and flavor is not good. The spring rolls fall apart and the peanut sauce is not good quality either and not consistent every time. Service is good and you get a good amount for your money but it?s not the best flavor and quality wise.
