Om Indian Kitchen - Ghaziabad

I have been staying in the Philippines for almost 6 years now, constantly on the look out for joints that serve Indian/South-Asian food. There are Indian restaurants in Metro Manila, and then, there is Om Indian Kitchen. I first came across Om, when it used to be located at Connecticut St. and was Cafe Om. In its new avatar, it's called Om Indian Kitchen and is based in the Grove by Rockwell. The food is still great : delicious, authentic and light on your tummy. My personal favorites are: the samosas, the mutton roganjosh and the kulfi. The owner, Mrs. Suman Gogna is a delightful hostess who pays special attention to you while you eat. I have been here many times, and will continue visiting.

Went here with my friends. ordered a looooot. we ordered almost everything on the menu. food was cooked to order, we were all happy with the overall experience. Mutton Rogan Josh and Chicken Biryani was the crowd favorite. the owner was there and was very friendly. will definitely come back :

While there are many different kinds of curry on Om’s menu, you’d be pleased to find that every last one of them has a distinct flavor profile. The Butter Chicken, the house’s best seller, has a rich, tangy, and tomatoey flavor that goes incredibly well with the house’s naan (flatbread). Meanwhile, the Fish Curry draws its excellent flavor from fresh curry leaves. The fish Om uses usually depends on the fresh catch of the day, but it’s guaranteed to have a tender and creamy texture which will complement the thick sauce well.

Enjoyed the lunch plate. It brought me back to Bombay and Delhi. Small servings but actually, just right. And that mirror by the entrance is a gem!

Ordered vegetarian biryani rice, samosa, chicken tikka masala and fish amritsari with friends and I have to say it was all good and filling. Also love how relaxing the resto was. Even the restroom smelled like a clean yoga studio! I was smiling while inside! Also like the different sayings painted on the wall. Namaste :
