El Porton Mexican - Germantown

Met colleague after work here. Food was pretty good, kinda your everyday typical Mexican restaurant. No offense, but it is all kind of the same regardless of the name. It 's sort of like if every Wendy 's changed their name to random American girls names, but the food at every place was still Wendy 's . I say that to point out, nothing special here, just your norm. Also like most Mexican restaurants the service was really good. They have the EV robot, that the put the food on, and it brings food to the table, but the waiter still takes food from this thing and puts on the table. Not sure what the purpose of this equipment was? Maybe the got it free to test, I just don 't see the need or value.

The staff was friendly and responsive. The Guacamole Mexicado was made fresh and with the jalapeno it had a little kick. The steak fajitas were tender and tasty
