Bb's Home Cooking - Georgetown

Went here for an early dinner. The queso was delicious, we had two orders of it for our table of five! My husband ordered the Filet Oscar (we ate at another restaurant that had this in the menu) it was okay but the other place is much better for $10 more. I had the soup of the day, which was hot and yummy. I also ordered the pecan chicken salad, it was good but the apple cider dressing was a bit tart. Our daughter ordered the chicken Parmesan, which was enough for her to eat and take home for lunch the next day. Her husband ordered the steak enchiladas and he said that they were delicious. Our server was lacking, it wasn't super busy but it was hard to get a refill of water/soda. Would go back for lunch as other things on the menu looked good.

The food is delicious, portion are enough! Customer service is great! The wait time is a little long but worthy. We tried different appetizers and everything was awesome. My favorites are Shrimp Ravioli and Ponzu Ribs. We also ordered Popeyes art, steak nachotes (super good and big portions) and Blacked Fondue! We tried My Mojo is an excellent coconut mojito! We can’t wait to come back! The area is super cute

Update February 2022: I returned for a lovely Valentine's dinner, and it lived up to my wonderful first visit—almost perfect in every way. The staff remained friendly, professional, and efficient. The drinks were unique and expertly made, while the food was exceptional in every aspect. Keep up the excellent work!

The service was good, though not exceptional. We tried a selection of salads and sandwiches, including the soup of the day. I particularly enjoyed the arugula steak salad, which had a nice spicy kick from the steak rub. Others in my group ordered the fish and chips sandwich and the grilled chicken salad, and everyone seemed pleased with their meals, although one person mentioned that the soup was spicier than they preferred. Prices are reasonable for the somewhat upscale Georgetown area. My friend and I ordered two steak salads and two soft drinks, totaling $46 before tip. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone seeking delicious local cuisine in a lovely setting. They also have live music on some evenings!

Mike enjoys the chicken-fried meatloaf, which is a generous portion. I've tried the shrimp ravioli and the Shroom Burger, both of which I highly recommend. I even took some leftovers home. The atmosphere is laid-back, and they have an impressive Bloody Mary setup for brunch that looked tempting. There’s also outdoor seating in a cozy enclosed patio that adds to the experience. While I found the prices a bit on the high side, the large servings make it worthwhile. I will definitely return.
