Contribuiți la feedbackThis is my favorite kopitoam for local breakfast. The standout dish was the 100 years old claypot apom manis, a must-try delicacy. These apom manis were perfectly crispy on the outside yet soft on the inside, with a simple yet satisfying taste. I couldn't resist having more than five pieces! It's wonderful to see the next generation taking over the legacy. The Hokkien Mee was also delicious, and the Fried Kuey Teow was a pleasant surprise, especially when topped with siham for an extra RM4. Additionally, the stall outside the kopitiam offers a variety of delectable bao, radish cake, and kuih. The radish cake, in particular, stood out as one of the best in town. Overall, this kopitiam offers a memorable breakfast experience with its diverse and mouthwatering offerings.
Housed multiple stores. Fried noodles with duck egg is really exceptional. Enjoyed every bite of it. One of the best i had. I also tried noodle soup (from a different store) . Broth made from prawn's shells was umami .
One of the better Char Koay Teow in town. I am having it with 2 eggs. The Hor Ka Sai drink is a fresh addictive. Can be hard to find a seat sometimes..
Recommended by penang friend. The claypot apom manis is cheap and good. Crispy at the sides, soft in the middle with abit of sweetness. Very good as a side dish. Saw many good reviews on the hokkien mee here. Got myself a bowl and I must say I have to agree. Super tasty broth together with the beehoon and mee. Don't miss this if you are here. Almost 80% of the tables there were having the hokkien mee. Superb! Love the hu kar sai here. Very thick and frothy, which means good tarik. Same goes for the other coffee and tea drinks here
The signature got to be the Appom Manis. Be prepared for queue. Nasi lemak, Char Koay Teow and Asam laksa is just average not something I would come again to eat. Hokkien Mee(Prawn Mee) is okay but the one at Green House is much better.
