Saker Sushi - GENOVA

I went with a friend for lunch, we wanted to try their special deal. I ordered chirashi, which is rice with a selection of raw fish. What i got was very different than what was on the menu picture: a huge portion of rice and a few sad pieces of two cheapest types of fish (no shrimp, no squid, nothing as shown in the menu). We were also instructed to eat everything to the end or we have to pay the full price for the leftover dishes. When I asked to change what they brought me because it did not have the fish that was supposed to be in it, the waiter went bonanza. No kidding: she was SHOUTING at me as to how I don't speak Italian and I don't understand how things work. I speak well enough to get by and order food and it was so unpleasant, her (and Asian chick) shouting at me in front of other (Italian) customers to how I shouldn't order if i can't read Italian. I was trying to be polite but still get my order right and the waitress was responding very rudely. Sigh. I hate confrontation and had to eat that giant portion of rice. The waiter continued to be really aggressive for the rest of our stay, she even brought a salad leaf, rolling her eyes, to my friend when she asked what a particular salad had in it (it was not written in the menu). I currently live near this place and I love sushi but I am not going back there, ever.

While staying in Genoa, Nervi, only for 2 days, I visited this restaurant twice for the grilled salmon they do. It was out of the words! And reasonably priced, too! The waitress was fully accommodating my needs by requesting chef to make it extra spicy for me with salsa glaze on the side. Still can remember the taste x very very well done from the me fussy eater ; !

If you're not in a hurry, it's the perfect place. Good food, good green tea, waitress very kind and moreover the do accept our Husky (wich is very quiet). Family fully satisfied.
