Black Cup Cafe - Geelong

This is my favourite place to eat. Food is awesome, great selections and always so hard to choose as all so delicious

This was a lovely cafe. The atmosphere was great, clean and music was just right and Staff wee were friendly.Food was interesting and really tasted great. The only thing I would say is that they are not flexible on serving size with no small options or sides which is difficult for people who can't eat large servings. I hate waste makes no sense.

This cafe is a welcome addition to the East Geelong area.  Reasonably good coffee and the food options for lunch are great.  The staff are mostly great although I have one small criticism.  They are clearly trained to only serve at 'the counter ' so unless you are standing right at the cashier they completely ignore you.  It feels pretty rude when you are standing at the edge of the cafe hoping someone could get a high chair for you, there are two staff less than a metre from you and you are completely ignored.  I had to say 'Excuse Me ' in a firm voice to get them to make eye contact with me.  Such a small thing to fix as well so hopefully they do something about it because apart from this the staff are actually quite friendly and attentive.

Loved my Egg Florentine, (this is my fav dish I order a most cafe's for brunch) tick it off as one of the best. Coffee very strong and slightly bitter, so had two. I've also eaten here for lunch, their salads of the day are amazing. I had the one with lots of sprouts, so yummy and healthy. No rudeness during my visits, every single staff member greeted me with a hello. Will be back
