Contribuiți la feedbackMy wife and I regularly visit here for afternoon tea. Mary is a great host and provides great service, along with delectable goodies. It is always nice to find a quiet place to relax and have a good coffee in Pakington Street.
Enjoyed a super lunch here. It was very busy so service was a little slow, but understandable. Coffee was pretty good too.
Had lunch with a friend today in the courtyard. There weren't a lot of selections...just quiche or zucchini slice or a faccacia. They are made to order, but I do like to see one already made before I order. I ended up just having some fruit toast and a chai. Both ok, but nothing special. The court yard had an odd smell wafting past...like dog poo. Hence I won't be rushing back.
Everything about this homely little cafe shows they care if you have to eat gluten free: they serve nourishing home-made food and quality fair trade coffee, tea and hot chocolate. The staff are always attentive and genuinely allergy aware. I like that the menu on the chalkboard reflects plenty of choices for everyone, including vegans and vegetarians. It's a place where I often see solo diners as there's lots of reading material and cosy spaces to relax without feeling self conscious. Tip: sit in the courtyard on a sunny day with a homemade gluten free ice cream/gelati or in winter a rich hot chocolate. Yum!
A cosy little neighbourhood spot where it's great to wile away the time watching pasers by and and consuming copious amounts of coffee and the delicious and unique hot chocolate. Some tasty treats and very timely, efficient service are consistent.
