Moe's Southwest Grill - Gardendale

I recently dined at this restaurant for lunch, and it was a fantastic experience overall. The food was outstanding, earning a solid 5 out of 5 for its quality and flavor. The service was equally impressive, with attentive and friendly staff who made me feel welcome throughout my visit, also rated at 5. The atmosphere was inviting and comfortable, making it the perfect setting for a midday meal, so I give it a 5 as well. With a price range of $20 to $30 per person, it’s an excellent value for such a delightful dining experience. Highly recommended!

I was disappointed by the service during my visit. The young woman who took my order added queso to my food without asking me if I wanted it on the side. When she made my burrito, she did so carelessly and seemed annoyed. Additionally, my nachos were lacking in meat and rice; it seemed like they gave me the leftovers because they hadn't prepared enough when supplies were low. To make matters worse, she tossed my order to the cashier with an attitude. The cashier, a young woman, huffed and rolled her eyes when she mistakenly tried to charge me for queso that I didn't receive. It was frustrating to deal with staff who seemed uninterested in providing good service. Out of the four employees there, only two were polite and offered decent customer service. Overall, while the food was acceptable, the service left much to be desired. Moe's in Gardendale did not disappoint me. Like all Moe's I've been to, service has always been with a smile, decent size portions, good food, at a reasonable price.
