Highlands - GALENA

Would be nice if they let you know when restaurant is open. Went there Sunday as it said open on website. Closed. No sign. Had to go in general store to see what the problem was. Not busy enough ?‍

Love visiting the Galena, IL Territory, we went for some pizza before going out for Halloween 2023.Grease!

Great drinks! Beautiful scenery, the added on look out deck was terrific.

We enjoyed a meal on Saturday evening. Both delicious meals, cooked to perfection. 1 meal lge Pork Chop mash and vegies and the other Atlantic Salmon and Sundried tomato risotto.

Our 1st visit to Highlands. The server was great, knowledgeable, and attentive without hovering. We had appetizers, sandwiches and drinks. Everything was tasty. The outdoor patio deck provides a perfect view of the golf course/countryside. The large floor to ceiling windows allow the same lovely view from inside the restaurant as well. We will definitely visit again.
