Great Irish pub. We enjoyed our food. I had the shepherds pie and thought it was good (though it didn't have lamb in it). Meal type: Lunch Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Great atmosphere and decor, good food and good service. I’m no food connoisseur, but seemed to have some pretty authentic and unique Irish dishes. For many years, my husband and I frequently dined in Galena. As we drive by Frank O’Dowd’s, we occasionally comment that we should stop in and try it sometime. Finally today we did and we were met with charming atmosphere, exceptional customer service, and a delicious and varied menu. The food was perfect! Can’t wait to go back.
