Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Gainesville

Usually when I go to a Tropical Smoothie it is staffed by younger people who always seem like they don't want to be there, today I tried this location and the two gentlemen working were very friendly, and genuinely seemed like they wanted to be there. It felt more like walking into the bar on Cheers than a smoothie place. They also went above and beyond helping another client.

Super friendly staff. Averie greeted us as we walked in and recommended the mocha madness. 10/10 so good! Will be back for another. Thanks!

Great healthier fast food option. Their wraps are delicious (I highly recommend the jerk chicken wrap if you enjoy spicy; the Thai chicken wrap is a solid choice for those that prefer no heat but it still has a ton of flavor). Their smoothies are awesome too and feel like a meal themselves. Detox island green is a tasty healthy option and peanut butter paradise was so good, if you're looking for a dessert smoothie. The staff here are always nice and have my order ready quickly. They also do a great job getting my order right (I'm a picky eater and usually substitute at least one thing in my order). 10/10 would recommend Tropical Smoothie Cafe.

This concept of a restaurant is really just a cheap rip-off of dairy Queen. The food is really bad the service is bad because it's all kids who've never had to have a job and management never wants to admit to its own mistakes when they send out the wrong food. I'm sure upper-level management like district management has a lot of stores and things to do but it doesn't change the fact that this store is your responsibility along with its employees and if they would hire the right management to run the store I'm sure it would be a lot better.
