The food is consistently tasty, with generous portions that won't break the bank. The staff is hardworking and friendly, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. And let’s talk about the muffins—they're amazing! If you're visiting for the first time, definitely try something. The pancakes stand out in particular, boasting a perfect combination of a crispy exterior and a fluffy interior. Throughout all my visits, I've always had a fantastic experience. On the rare occasion a mistake was made, the staff addressed it promptly and efficiently. I truly believe there’s no better place for breakfast or lunch in Gainesville. The food was quite good. I recall my experience at First Watch in Ocala. The pancakes and cookies from the Bakery mill had a distinctly different flavor; you can really taste the freshness. The bacon was crispy and delicious. However, I wasn't particularly impressed with the muffins.

One of our favorite breakfast/lunch places in Gainesville! Generous portions at reasonable price and friendly staff. Their muffins are the best we?ve had in Gainesville. We noticed that many people stopped by the restaurant just to buy the muffins. We also recommend classic reuben.

To be honest, I've been pretty disappointed with the Bakery Mill every time our business orders lunch in from here. Eaten their food about 5 times and it's always a bit underwhelming. Soggy/stale fries, soggy/soft tomato slices, meat is okay, bread toasted nicely, but nothing special. I really wish the food was better, because it's so close to my work. It just lacks flavor. Sandwiches get a 7/10 from me. The pasta salad I just took a bite of was honestly a joke and is the nail in the coffin that will have me going to Panera Bread in the future instead. Overcooked to hell, NO seasoning whatsoever, and literally has nothing but ONE olive sliced up, and a couple bits of stringed cheese in it. Tossing it. 1/10

Absolutely delicious! I love their muffins, which are massive—I usually only eat half at a time. I also enjoy the breakfast sandwich on a croissant. My husband raves about the cookies and gravy, calling them fantastic. They offer a nice variety of options, especially considering the size of the place. The staff is friendly and attentive, always giving a warm welcome. The atmosphere feels like a diner but isn’t too noisy (though that can depend on how many men are present). It can get busy, so if you don’t plan to dine in or have your heart set on a specific muffin, it’s best to order ahead.
