Texas Roadhouse Gainesville

I have been a regular at Texas Roadhouse for years and have always enjoyed the food. However, when I went for dinner tonight with a friend and her daughter, we were all shocked by the quality of the food. The potato skins were dry and burnt, and my friend's pork chop was undercooked and had to be sent back to the grill three times before it was finally cooked properly - but by then it was dry and tough. We were very disappointed.

We were sat promptly. we ordered our drinks, which were also brought promptly. Our waiter then took our order, I ordered the country fried chicken with white gravy along with mashed potatoes with the same gravy and the house salad. My companion ordered the 6 oz sirloin with the house salad and steak fries. We also ordered the cactus blossom as an appetizer and when we sat down we were given hot rolls and cinnamon butter. The salads and appetizer were brought out promptly, the salads are a good size and the cactus blossom is quite large. The waiter was very attentive and our food was brought out just as we were finishing up with our salads. The food was well cooked. My country fried chicken was quite large. My companions steak had been ordered medium well and it was perfectly cooked. This was an enjoyable dining experience.
