Texas Roadhouse - Gainesville

I'm really tired of hearing that every restaurant employee has issues. I'm sorry, but I can point to several places that provide high-quality food and service, either by paying more (and sacrificing some profits) or through better management. Unfortunately, this restaurant is not one of them. Don't be fooled by their > 4-star rating; if you look at last year's reviews, they probably average around 2 stars. We waited 50 minutes for our food. Despite returning to the table five times to clarify our order, our waitress still got it seriously wrong. I ordered a baked potato, which was one of the items she came back to confirm, but I received fries instead. My wife ordered two side salads without cheese or egg, and one of them came with cheese. That was also something the waitress had re-confirmed. The steak I received looked like it was medium, but it was more like burnt. It even tasted burnt, not charred, but truly burnt. To make matters worse, just before our food was served (incorrectly), they switched out the waiting staff for us. The only reason I gave them a star was for the salads and bread. Yes, they offered to cook new steaks, but I couldn't wait another 50 minutes. We need to stop accepting excuses for poorly managed restaurants.

I was not very impressed with my experience. We placed a curbside order, and when we called to let them know we had arrived, they hung up on us without providing any details. We ended up waiting another 15 minutes at the pickup spot, which seems to be a common issue with this place. However, the server who brought the food to our car was very friendly. Unfortunately, the steaks were not cooked to our specifications, so we had to prepare them ourselves. On a positive note, the ribs were quite large, but some of the dishes were excessively salty.

This is a really great restaurant chain. The steak has a lot of potential, depending on the skill of the cook, so it can be a hit or miss. Fortunately, this time it was delicious. The fillet was cooked perfectly and didn't even need steak sauce, which is a plus. However, we did notice that prices have increased. The $9.99 steak special has gone up, and for just the two of us, the total came to $50.

This review is to go to an order!! I ordered extra sauces ranch, honey mustard and extra butter. We didn't get them. We had 6 rolls with a small cup of butter. Also in demand for plastic clothing. We ordered 4 meals they gave us one thing of plastic clothing. I called and just let someone know he's checking the orders twice. I also ordered loaded pommes with the two Burger meal times. We paid for that extra. Well, I'll get a picture of them. To pay extra for loaded pommes, you would think that the whole order would have cheese and bacon, one they not only 1 big steak fry. We saw that too. The last straw was that our burgers are well done. I ate a bite of the burger and it was raw inside. We were so disappointed that we threw away our meals. I know the times are hard, and sometimes the staff is short, but that is unacceptable. It wasn't a Burger King cheese burger. This meal cost our family a lot of money.

First off we waited 17mins before anyone bring us some bread or ask us what we wanted to drink. I had to ask someone to serve us. It was me and my girlfriend. After we order our drink and food we still didn?t get our drink. I had to ask for the drink because our waiter was to busy flirting with the female staff. We had already gotten our appetizer and sides but no drink. We still left the waiter a $20 tip but just realize something that could had been $50 if the service was good. I?ve only left a $60 tip to one waitress a month ago because her service was excellent. I come here with my girlfriend once every two week sometimes once every week. This was the first time I had issue here. I?m not going to put his name down because I don?t want to get him in trouble but do a better job next time. He know who I?m talking about. Don?t complain if you do t get a good tip because next time I will Tip lower.
