Prime Pearl - Gainesville

Went to the place as part of a company dinner. The steak was not exceptional in anyway so the high price tag was not warranted. Side items were good but also over priced. But what really disappointed me was the ambience. The place was not what I would call fine dining experience. It was not well decorated, furnishings looked cheap, noisy interior, uncomfortable seating and bad lighting. The staff was nice and knowledgeable. The diner I had was near $100 and that said I could have had just as good of food and better environment elsewhere for half that cost. I think their costumers will be those that think because they pay a lot is it worth a lot. Not planning on a return visit. Burns Steak House in Tampa is so much better.

I must say there were no issues with the food..i feel sorry for the chef as he has no control over the front of the house because that's where everything falls apart..loud blaring music that the management was unable to control..after being told they were turning off the music, it happened 4 more times..our server regaled us with a story how he drank wine with a group of doctors he served and he would be more than happy to drink our wine with us..tacky..and where I'm from it's also illegal..if a patron he served was in an accident on the way home,while he is drinking, this establishment just assumed 100 liability due to his drinking..stupid.

Amazing Valentines meal! The filet was perfect roasted corn brussel sprouts we cooked to perfection! Many of our friends enjoy this restaurant it was delicious! We will be back!

We were back for our second visit to Prime and Pearl, brought friends and were not disappointed! Our friends enjoyed it as much as we did! It was just as fabulous the second time and we selected different entrées from our first visit, which were just as spectacular as our first visit! Dessert is a must to complete the dining experience. Lastly, I will say the service was on point just as we had before makes for a superb experience all the way around! It IS my favorite place to dine, Bravo to Prime and Pearl!

We truly enjoyed an amazing anniversary dinner at Prime Pearl. Everything was perfect. Especially impressive was the service (Clayton was our waiter) and the little details like the “Happy Anniversary” card waiting on our table, the “Congratulations” chocolate medallion perfectly placed on our crème brulee, and the bourbon and honey, blueberry whipped butter. And of course the steak was delicious!
