Embers Wood Grill - Gainesville

This is one of the finest restaurants in Gainesville. Their steak is exceptional. We also tried a few seafood dishes, and they were all fantastic. The outdoor seating in the beautiful garden is perfect for the spring weather. Each entrée includes two sides, all of which were delicious. The wine selection is impressive as well. It's a wonderful place to celebrate special occasions. I will definitely return.

The food at this restaurant is truly fantastic and definitely worth the cost! We savored everything we ordered, but our favorites were the shrimp and grits, lobster bisque, coconut shrimp, lobster mashed potatoes, and filet mignon. The cocktails were potent, and the chocolate torte along with the cheese plate made for a perfect finale to our meal.

My man and I came here for our one-year anniversary and we had a wonderful experience. donny, our server, has constantly checked us and his best done to make sure we feel comfortable. originally we sat inside and it was hot, and we quickly sat outside to a nice candlelight dinner at the fountain. we were the only couple and it was a nice, intimate dinner. we were recommended to have a very nice red wine, the annabella, and we really enjoyed it. my steak was cooked to perfection.
