Cold Stone Creamery - Gainesville

Cold Stone offers a great selection of ice cream with a variety of toppings. We tried the mint chocolate flavor, which had a creamy, buttery texture. We highly recommend Cold Stone for a casual date.

This establishment offers delicious ice cream, but the ambiance is disheartening and unwelcoming. The owner's attitude towards customers is evident: purchase your treat and leave, or, if you must stay, you can choose to sit at one of the unattractive metal tables at the back. There are chairs positioned by the rear window or along the drab side walls, all on a floor littered with broken tiles. There are no umbrellas or tables outside, as if they wish to discourage lingering. The overall atmosphere is quite somber; one can almost imagine a stiff body being wheeled out from the back on a metal cart.

The place was really great. We were greeted very sweetly when we entered the store and also answered all my queries. We ordered Chocolate Devotion and Coffee lovers only with customized waffle cones. I absolutely loved them both?

Coffee/caramel latte with walnuts and Carmel sauce. My wife and I wanted some ice cream and my mother in law wanted a chocolate shake. When we got there we were told that they didn't have any milk but Leon didn't let that stop him he still made us one tonight. His personality and drive and customer service was so on point tonight. Thank you for a great experiment. We definitely will have to go back and see Leon again before we head back to Pennsylvania.

I hate to say it, but I was really disappointed with this ice cream. I had heard a lot of hype about their egg-themed offerings, so I decided to try the mint ice cream and add chocolate chips to turn it into mint chocolate chip. Unfortunately, I couldn't taste any mint in the ice cream, and the chocolate chips had an artificial flavor. The portion I received was small, and with the ice cream and chocolate chips, it cost $8.75, which feels way too expensive for what I got—maybe only one and a half scoops. I only came here because the Baskin-Robbins near my home was closed. I've had much better chocolate chip ice cream at Baskin-Robbins than what I tried here. Additionally, it seemed like the staff behind the counter were not well-trained. I'm sorry to sound harsh, but if I'm paying $8.75 for ice cream, I expect it to be excellent, and sadly, this was not the case.
