Chopstix Cafe - Gainesville

We've gone to chop stix for over 20 years. there are countless vegan options with tofu, tempo and sincean. amazing sauces and fresh vegetables, all on beautiful bivens poor lake. our favorite restaurant in gainesville, downstairs.

I was here several times when I visited my son. we have ordered the vegan options from sweet and sour tofu, honey garlic fried tofu, kang masamon, pad thai, crispy veggie rolls (they will leave the cream cheese), kokos sorbet, veggie spring rolls and a sweet potato sushi with vegan eelsauce. the kang masamon was a small gland, but the others were wonderful. great personal. and yes, the mosquitoes come out at night! can not wait to rehearse more vegan options here!

This place has been met or missed for me, but overall I love it! the vegan pho is not debating the best I ever had, it can not recommend enough! I also have the cashew court with tofu and that was amazing. I remember some noodle dish (with a kind of curry sauce) with sincean, which was quite bland. I recommend definitiw the pho and cashew though! also the view of the sea is amazing, but as soon as the sun sets the moskitos are unbearable (I am a florida native and I have never seen so many hugs) so they keep this in mind. there are two complete pages of veggie options (with tofu, tempo and sincean as protein) so be ready to decide a hard time!

We saw this restaurant on happy cow and were thrilled to find some good Thai food. my man and I ordered two different noodle dishes and they were very disappointing. they were both super-Blande and moderate. the only sauce on my was mae ploy sauce as they buy in food store. it is sad because the situation at the sea is very cool. we have no desire to ever go back.

The Pad Thai was pretty good, but there’s better in Gainesville. Lots of options though!
