City Works (wheeling Town Center — Wheeling)

The pork chop was amazing. The flavors were spot on and very well done flavor profile wise. Good comfort food when you need it right there. Our server seemed missing a lot and never refilled my water or was around to be asked. The entire restaurant was freezing too, everyone was wearing coats even the servers while working. Not a great atmosphere.

Manager took my ID cause he thought it was fake and after police came and confirmed it was legit he still refused to serve me.

Excellent experience tonight at City works. Our waiter Sean was fantastic. Gave great recommendation and the food was so yummy!!! Lauren was outstanding managing, cleaning, and helping out her staff. Definitely will be back!

This place sucks if you try to bring a party of 7 plus. I was told that my party of 7 had to wait 45 minutes for a table because there was no tables available. Weird thing was that, there was like 5 big tables available. Then my friend asked the host, “are those tables taken?” And the host replied “they need to be cleaned”. My friend asked again “Does it really take 45 minutes to clean a table?” Host replied “yeah it does, we are really slow here.” Unbelievable.

Food was spectacular definitely going again great cook Friday night
