Otto's German Bistro

Highly recommend the duck snitzel. I have been here three times and I guess I should try something else but it is sooo goood!! My wife had the pierogis tasty a small serving but perfect for her. Figure on spending $150 for two easily.

The food is incredible! Small dinner menu and lofty portions.

I was solo in Fredricksburg while waiting for my friends to get into town, so I came over to Otto’s so a nice meal on my own. It was a Wednesday night and they weren’t super busy, so they offered me either inside or outside seating, and I went with the patio. The outside patio was great, and the service from the staff was top notch. My wine glass was never at risk of being empty, and they checked in on me frequently. I ordered the Duck Schnitzel and it was incredible. Overall a great experience, and I’ll be back whenever I’m back in Fredricksburg.

3 years ago since I’ve been and service tonight was way down. Server didn’t even tell me his name or ask how I was doing tonight. Just told me the top items to order. Food is definitely to die for but I see why their two next door projects shut down. No southern hospitality from the server.

The flatbread was the best! Great flavor and ingredients! Highly recommend!
