The front part is type dinner, with about 5 tables and a bar. I went at night and the lighting consisted of a light bulb on the roof, and several neon signs of beer brands, in which the red was the predominant color. Both walls and ceiling are made of wood, and after the bar you can see the kitchen. On the other side of the bar - and the kitchen - there is another room. This is bigger and the main dining room. It is more illuminated than the other, and its walls hang all kinds of things: ancient photos, maps of Texas and even a surfboard. It can also be eaten outside, both in the front and in the rear. The whole place has a retro-authentic air that makes it irresistible. At first it operated exclusively as a shop for the neighbors of the area - the nearest town is 20 minutes - and later it evolved to coffee/restaurant. But quiet, the neighbors still buy their supplies there. It is located next to the Old Tunnel State Park, and the people who visit it usually go there for dinner. Despite this, it did not seem to me a tourist site but rather a whole discovery. I went between week and there were very few people, a totally relaxed atmosphere. If you're not going to visit the park, but you're in Fredericksburg, I recommend that you get closer, you'll be surprised. Even if you're not staying in the area, but you go through Comfort when you go through the I10, come and eat here, the detour is worth it. The best thing about the letter, no doubt, is the burgers. The rations are immense, the potatoes cut by hand. You can't get out of there hungry. I tasted the blue cheeseburger, with roasted onion and jalapeños, and the chicken sandwich and Swiss cheese. I'm getting a water mouth when I remember... Finally, the deal is wonderfully familiar, I felt like it was one of the usual locals. The drinks you take out of the fridge yourself, and the waitress even sat down for a while to talk to us. I'm clear, as long as I can, I'm gonna go over there and eat a burger.

I recently enjoyed a delicious cheeseburger with a fried egg and fries at this restaurant. The food and service were both excellent, and the atmosphere was great. The owner made sure to regularly check in on us during our meal. I also tried the onion rings and fried avocado on a previous visit and they were also fantastic.
I was fortunate enough to dine at this restaurant again during a recent visit to Fredericksburg. The burgers here are the best I've ever had. The staff is extremely friendly. I will definitely be returning whenever I am in the area.
The BEST burger and onion rings I have ever had. Goat cheese was AMAZING!!
