Katora Coffee - Fredericksburg

Very advanced business that is more than just a coffee shop (which they do very well! , but also often becomes a place for all kinds of artistic expressions. This app will not allow me to give them 5 stars, but that's what I wanted to give them updated from previous review on 2022-06-03

The food is delicious almost all vegan (a few vegetarian things). Nice friendly staff!

The food is delicious and fresh, 95% of the food is vegan, the rest is vegetarian, and they only use vegetable milk in their coffee. They also have a wide selection of tea that is all fresh. You have many events and many of the regular guests are vegan and vegetarian. The staff is always friendly and the regulars are great. They also host gaming tournaments, open microphone and speedfriending. Katora is an amazing place to hang for vegans!

This is a super hip café/bakery in the historic district of Fredericksburg. There are tons of loose leaf tea and organic coffee options and several plant milk. There are also some juice options. The bakery is usually limited, but half the selection is vegan! I got a blueberry muffin and my partner got a hummingbird cake that both were tasty. There is a fantastic children's area so we actually sit and enjoy our food and drinks while our guys are playing. There are lots of art and good music and even a few video game systems. The owner told us about some of the events they hold, like an open microphone on Wednesdays, poetry on weekends and game tournaments. I wish we lived closer, because that would be my place!

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The white mocha was top-notch - definitely the best I've had in a long time. The baked treats were delightful to look at and delicious to eat. The seating was cozy and charming. I can't wait to come back and enjoy some coffee, a pastry, and a good book in the outdoor seating area.
