Magoo's Pub Eatery - Frederick

We had a short-notice group of 14 that descended on Magoo's. They did a magnificent job taking care of us! I ordered the Fried Shrimp starter and was eating shrimp all night! There were more shrimp than I'm used to seeing in a Shrimp entree! The servers were active and attentive but not overbearing. The owner even gave me a complimentary lecture on Irish history. What a great evening!

Usually I write indepth reviews, but this one will be simple. Our bartender was drunk and we noticed rats scurring around in the kitchen. Do not eat here, it's disgusting and the service is awful. I hope they get closed down, Frederick has so much better to offer. We don't need this business staining our city.

A small bar and restaurant located in downtown Frederick. It was just the place we were looking for while we were strolling downtown. The people were all kind. The staff had great service and the owner was super chatty with those at the bar. The food was definitely a bang for your buck. We had the crabby Jen?s chicken and the crabby Jen?s burger. As I said on their Facebook. Finally I know where to go to get a great head on a Guinness. It didn't have to close my eyes to feel like I was in Wicklow county. Staff fun and very accommodating. Great experience highly recommend it. Especially on a Saturday morning after a heavy workout.

5 stars because this is one of those special home-y hole in the wall places that you always hope you run into. The food is delicious bar grub, the vibe is super fun, the service is super friendly, and I?ll be thinking about what a nice time I had here for awhile. (We got the fried shrimp, chicken pot pie, and crab dip)
