Contribuiți la feedbackWe had a delightful meal at the restaurant tonight. The menu offered a small selection of vegetarian options. We were seated at a table by the window with exceptional views. Our server, who was Italian, was very courteous and personable. Thank you for a wonderful evening. I highly recommend this restaurant. We are grateful that it has reopened. I plan on returning soon.
This restaurant has stunning views, but alas the food fails to match. We have eaten here several times over the last few months and the big problem is variability in the food served. It's as if the chef has changed several times? For example beef carpaccio a few months ago was really excellent with cheffy touches. Today's version was a completely different story. A few slices of raw beef, a couple of lettuce leaves (because the rocket delivered that morning wasn't good enough) and a shaving a parmasian cheese. It was tasteless to say the least and not a patch on its former glory. Main course roast pork was overcooked with a fairly tasteless sausage stuffing and the mustard sauce didn't add anything. Come on guys you can do better than this.
We went to this restaurant for a family birthday and it has one of the best locations in Cork. We have been to Bunny's many times over the years and it has always been excellent. The food was amazing and the staff were fantastic. I would highly recommend visiting.
We had dined at Bunny's a year ago and were so impressed that we returned to Cork for the weekend just to eat at this fantastic restaurant again. Unfortunately, we were highly disappointed this time. There was no coaster on the glass table, causing our wine glasses to slide around from condensation. The mussels were served cold, the portion of seared calamari was small and hidden under the nduja/tomato sauce. Described as mild by the waitress, it was actually very hot and overpowering. The burger was good, but poorly presented. The lemon curd dessert was a rip off, with half of it missing. The lack of staff asking about our experience at the end of the meal was the final disappointment of the evening.
Before you go to Bunny's now, check out their new menu pretentious and expensive. The days of reliably good food for lunch are over. Although they open at 3pm, the prices are nighttime prices and we found the menu unappealing and very limited, no more beautiful fish and chips. We took friends for a birthday lunch and there was literally nothing that sounded good on their mains menu. We ended up with four seafood chowders, a shared mussels starter (not everyone liked mussels and the calamari was cooked with tomatoes! and four beverages, not even the desserts were appealing. This embarrasing and disappointing lunch cost 100 euros with tip. Won't be going back anytime soon. The view is still great though...
