Contribuiți la feedbackVery bad service, reservation wasn’t dealt properly. Asked for a table outside, didn’t got it. No space they said, but it was confirmed by telephone. At our arrival nobody wanted to direct us to our table. And when we had to sit inside (we had to find our own table with nametags and everyone else directed), it was simply to hot. It wasn’t comfortable. No more Emili for us and I strongly wouldn’t recommend it for anyone. Zero stars for Emili!!!
Excellent service very kindly staff. Food is very good and you get plenty for your Euros They offer various menus you can choose from.
I absolutely love Emili in Giucano… I have been here last year for the first time and twice this year… we stayed at a nearby hotel as we love this area in Tuscany.. Emili is a typical restaurant… the food is regional and extremely well executed… but what make it special is the experience… The restaurant is located in a very small mediaeval borgo in the hills where Tuscany meet Liguria… in summer the tables are all placed in the main little square (you can also choose the restaurant itself) which provides a beautiful terrace overlooking the sweet rolling hills of this beautiful region. The food is of high quality and in abundance.. the atmosphere is relaxing but classy… everything is just perfect.. not pretentious but smart, simple but interesting… relaxing but elegant… as always..Italians know how to strike the perfect balance of quality and sophistication by making you feel at home. Can’t wait for my next visit Thank you
This is my first time on TripAdvisor, but felt the need to write my thoughts on a place which I believe it’s one of the most genuine, and as much “real” of what people whom lives abroad as we do during the year, dream when coming to Italy and eating great food. Emili is one of those favorite places, and we’ve been eating there since many years. The Family which owns the Restaurant make us feel as if we’re eating in our “second home”. The food is simply amazing. In the summer you can eat out in the towns small square, and trust us, this will be one of the most enchanting places you will ever dream of.
We had a dinner here while staying for a night in Castello Malaspina di Fosdinovo. The restaurant is only 3 km of easy driving from the castle. They serve locally grown food from a menu composed entirely of local recipes which are cooked with love and passion. Make sure you arrive an hour or so in advance of your reservation to explore Giucano – the small medieval village where the restaurant is located. It was so intensely quiet there that we were whispering to each other in fear of disturbing the silence which seemed to have accumulated there by centuries. What a dinner, what a walk, what an experience!
