Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - Fort Payne

I went through the drive-thru around 2:30 PM, and the woman at the window seemed confused and shot me some dirty looks. I waited there for about five minutes just for three pieces of chicken and a large mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was swimming in grease, and I will never return to this place.

Despite the negative reviews, my wife and I decided to try this place for lunch. We waited about 10 minutes in the drive-through, but the food was fantastic! It was hot and fresh. The frozen lemonade was also delightful. We'll definitely be returning!

I arrived at the drive-thru at 6:42 PM and waited at the speaker for 7 minutes without anyone taking my order. When I moved to the window, the staff member inside completely ignored me. I'm not sure if they were closed, but if they were, they should definitely have a sign to let customers know, instead of making us feel foolish for waiting. This is quite unprofessional. If they are short-staffed, that's understandable, but they should at least display a notice if they plan to close early, or simply close the restaurant if no one is available to work during operating hours.

This was the worse place ever. Took 20 minutes in the drive thru to get our order. Then we pulled around to check it. It was not our order at all. Walked to take it back in to get our order. The doors were locked with people inside eating. I go back to the car to call and it goes to voice mail. We get back in line and wait 20 more min to get to the window. That lady was so rude and ask did we have spicy tender. We said no and told her our order again it was just 2 order) she said very hateful i just ask if it was spicy . She said give me the food and grabbed it out of our hand. Passed us our food that had been sitting on the counter and slammed the window. Food was cold and not good at all after over 45 min. I am very disappointed and we gave this place several chances. We love Popeyes but will never go back again. It has left a bad taste in our mouth for any Popeyes. PS The smart a at the window should be fired. I understand help is hard to find but better to close up than to have rude employees and ruin a great business.

We went to the drive thru today. It was horrible to say the least. We were the only car in the parking lot and were asked to hold for at least 5-7 minutes. We tried to be as nice as possible. The lady was very rude and short with us. I asked for no ice in the drinks. When we got to the window , she gave us our food and drinks. The drink had ice so I said ? I requested no ice? ? well if looks could kill, I wouldn?t be writing this review right now. It was so bad I just said , never mind it?s not a big deal.. she then slams the window in my face and doesn?t say another word. This will be my last visit here.
