Wrapped up around 8pm down in Indian Land, and was in the mood for a quick bite and a beer before heading home, so decided to check Yelp to see what was in the area. A place called Siggy 's popped up less than a mile from my location, so I said why the heck not and decided to give it a shot knowing nothing about the place beforehand. The location was a little hidden within the shopping complex that includes Publix, Hickory Tavern and a ton of other establishments, but parking was plentiful and the open sign was on, so found a spot and headed in. I could see this place being described as anything from a hole in the wall to a dive bar to a Cheers type bar, and all of those are meant in a good way, as it was unassuming and low key which is pretty much what I expected on a random Tuesday night. The bar was filled with what I presume to be regulars as everyone seemed to know each other, so I took a seat at a table while I looked around to check the place out. A decent number of TVs were scattered about and there was plenty of seating, so I could see this place getting pretty full on a weekend, as I noticed advertisements for things like all you can eat wings , live bands , etc depending on the night. After a few minutes wait, a friendly and welcoming server came over and asked what I would like to drink and gave me a menu. She was beyond awesome by the way, as she had a tremendous attitude and made me feel very welcome with her infectious smile and friendly personality, as those things go a long way when it comes to servers, so fantastic job on her part for knocking it out of the park in those areas.Ordered a chicken philly and a beer and the food was above average for a sports bar, but again, the service was top notch and made all the difference in the world, so I would highly recommend you check this place out.Overall, a great first time experience, and I look forward to going back to see if I can snag a seat at the bar or maybe catch some live music one weekend.
Good bourbon selection beer. Lots of friendly people. Inclusive. Welcoming. And different events regularly. Check their Facebook page for music and other events of the week
I don't want to give a negative review because we didn't actually order anything at this restaurant. We came specifically for the Cuban sandwich, as that was what I was really in the mood for. Unfortunately, the menu had recently been changed and they no longer offered it. The staff was very friendly, which is why I am giving it a 3-star review. Note: A new menu has been added.
I have not come across a single item on the menu that disappoints. Their chicken wings and Philly cheesesteak are particularly outstanding.
