The Capital Grille - Fort Lauderdale

There were so many issues during my visit that I could go on all night. It was truly disappointing. While the waitresses were friendly, they seemed quite inexperienced. Unfortunately, I had to return everything I ordered. Overall, it was a rather sad experience.

For our meal, we enjoyed two glasses of wine, a delicious salad featuring crab meat, mango, and avocado, and we shared a 24 oz. porterhouse steak. We also had asparagus and a generous portion of Au Gratin potatoes, along with a basket of hot bread and butter. Everything was perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. Just when we thought our meal was over, we were surprised with complimentary champagne for a toast, and a dessert plate that featured "Happy Anniversary" written in chocolate. Our server, Troy, not only took our picture but also returned with a printed copy and presented my wife with a red rose. To finish off our evening, we enjoyed some cappuccinos. If you choose to valet your car, just give your server the parking stub, and they will provide you with a voucher for free parking, which is an $8 value. Our total, excluding tip, was $120. We definitely plan to return!

We had a fantastic dining experience at a cozy, elegantly decorated restaurant. We went for lunch and were blown away by the incredible lobster salad and the calamari—both were simply superb. On the day we visited, there was a large group of lively ladies (complete with a microphone), but we could have requested a table in a quieter area if we had chosen. Despite the noise, I can't wait to return to the Capital Grille time and time again.

It was OK, not all the hype. I've eaten at better steak houses and have been happier.

By far the best Calamari and excellent meat in Florida. The other one is in Orlando. MUST EAT the CALAMARI and meat.
