Contribuiți la feedbackI was surprised to discover that the interior is much larger and more spacious than I anticipated. There are charming, private booths as well as larger tables and a lengthy bar area. They even have some high-top tables for outdoor dining. We decided to sit at the bar, where it was pleasantly dark and cool inside despite the mid-80s temperature outside. The drink selection is extensive, with various liquors and several beers on tap, including a hard cider, so you certainly won't go thirsty. If you're a sports fan, there are plenty of televisions around to catch the game. My husband ordered the special lamb stew, which came in a generous bowl filled with tender chunks of meat, carrots, potatoes, and onions in a delicious brown gravy. He paired it with a glass of Harp beer. I opted for the small portion of shepherd’s pie, which was traditional in style, featuring a topping of mashed potatoes over a mix of ground meat and peas drizzled with gravy. It was quite tasty as well. The menu includes various bar appetizers, sandwiches, including burgers, and even salads if you’re inclined. However, their true strengths lie in their pub specialties. The chicken pot pie looked delightful, the curry was aromatic, and even the fish and chips caught my eye. I’m sure we’ll be back to explore some of the other enticing dishes on their menu.
Stout is the ideal local spot for catching a game! While I'm not typically into sports, my friends were excited about the Women's Soccer World Cup, so we decided to head to Stout for the final match. We arrived about 15 minutes before the game kicked off and managed to snag a large table with an excellent view of the screens, though it's worth mentioning that every table has great visibility of several TVs. The interior is spacious yet maintains the warm, inviting atmosphere of an authentic Irish pub, complete with large, decorative wooden seating. The bar area is also roomy and well-designed. One downside is that there aren't many vegetarian options available (no vegan choices apart from fries), but their mac and cheese is absolutely delicious, and you can order it without chicken. If you're looking for a charming local pub to accommodate a large group while enjoying a clean and welcoming bar environment, this is definitely the place for you!
The service was excellent; Blanca took wonderful care of us, ensuring that everyone had what they needed despite the constant flow of customers. She recommended some traditional Irish dishes, and we decided to try the Shepherd's Pie and Fish and Chips. Both were delicious, and our drinks were perfectly poured. I was surprised to find the place wasn’t busier, as it always seemed packed whenever I drove by in the past. It might be a result of the pandemic's lingering effects, changes to their happy hour policy, or simply the fact that it was a Wednesday night, but I can assure you it had nothing to do with the quality of service or food. It’s nice to have a spot close to work where friends can gather. I’ll definitely be returning!
Cinco de Mayo 2022. 8:20 PM. This place was closed. So disappointing. Nice parking lot! Bright beautiful sign. I guess I have to come back another time. I will. Would love and try some fish and ships
Very surprised about the 4 stars review average at this place. Went to Stout on a Saturday night with a few friends and it was completely empty, which ok it was a rainy night. We sat down and ordered a few beers, but to start they were out of quite a few of them so we had to keep choosing another option. We kept getting rushed to order our food, and at some point we were informed the kitchen would close at 8:30pm, so I ordered a buffalo chicken flatbread which didn't take long to arrive. The food was just average not bad not good, the cheese on the flatbread was not completely melted, but I still ate it. The bigger surprise came at the end, on their main entrance door it says the bar closes at 2am on Saturdays but we were informed by the waiter that we would have to leave at 9:30pm since thats the time they were closing that night. We had no other option, so we asked for the check, paid with a credit card and to make it even greater we learned that they charge a non-cash fee, which yes it was on the check very small at the bottom so no one saw it or expected.
