Steak 'n Shake - Fort Lauderdale

Despite being one of the most affordable meal options at FLL airport, this restaurant may rank among the worst in the country. The service was incredibly slow; it took 15 minutes to receive my food, and an additional 10 minutes for my shake. Everyone waiting for their meals seemed quite tense. Overall, it was not a pleasant atmosphere.

I would recommend avoiding this place. It took 45 minutes to receive some fries, a poorly made grilled cheese, and a mediocre shake. The prices are high, and the atmosphere is chaotic and uncomfortable.

I wasn't the only one who was upset; the customers before and after me were furious as well and noticed the clear lack of teamwork. You really need to do better! It's unacceptable to have just one person managing the restaurant. If you plan on running it this way, then you should definitely promote her! This situation is a big reason why many people nowadays are reluctant to work; it’s discouraging when they find themselves surrounded by unmotivated coworkers. Please take action to improve this!

Definitely got food poisoning from this place. Young guys operating the grill who seemed to want to be elsewhere rather than cooking the meat entirely. Avoid!

The food was tasty and affordable, but the service was lacking. They mixed up my order and even asked for extra money to correct it. It was a hassle and quite frustrating.
