Nanou Ocean - Fort Lauderdale

The tables at this restaurant are all sticky, as if the varnish has never fully dried. The owner, who speaks with a French accent, is very unhelpful and claims the stickiness is a "feature" of the tables that cannot be fixed. The prices are also quite high and not worth it for the quality of the food. I was able to get a refund for my meal, but I have no desire to return or recommend this establishment. It should be noted that there were only three occupied tables at 11:30 a.m., which should have been a red flag for me not to eat there.

During my two-day stay in the area, I found my favorite breakfast spot to be the bakery across the street. Every item was delicious and enjoyable!

Amazing friendly service that made me so happy was eating so fresh and incredibly prepared with more obvious love. highly recommended!

Such a nice little spot in the perfect location! Sandwiches, macaroons and coffee were delicious. A gentleman named AC helped me at the counter. Such a positive spirit and super kind. Definitely worth being there just to see him!

My favorite bakery spot... authentic French croissants that never disappoint! Friendly service shout out to AC! Can't wait to be back!
